Sankardev Tithi & Ganesh Chaturthi(1st September):
Srimanta Sankardev Tithi celebration was started
with the lightning of the lamp . One of our teacher Smt. Bondita Das delivered a
speech about the life of Srimanta Sankardev. The programme was ended with the “Dihanam”
performance by the teachers. On the same day, Ganesh Chaturthi was also
celebrated by chanting the Bhajan on Lord Ganesha and a Ganesh idol making
competition was conducted among the primary students just before the day of the
celebration.
