ANNUAL REPORT
The VKVs of Assam and Nagaland are working under the educational wing of VK i.e. known as Vivekananda Kendra Siksha Prasar Vibhag(VKSPV) Guwahati. All the vidyalayas are functioning with the ‘ twin ideology of “Man making & Nation building”. There are total 25 vidyalayas, out of those 4 are project schools and 21 are non-project schools. All the vidyalayas are running under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra “A Spiritually Oriented Service Mission”, with its headquarter at Kanyakumari, imbued with the dynamic ideals of Swami Vivekananda , the legendary cyclonic monk of India and fortified with  the grand ideals of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, VKVs have been endeavoring the impart quality education to the students of the far flung areas of the state.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sadiya is located on the side of the National Highway, border of Arunachal Pradesh, amidst the scenic beauty of the Brahmaputra river and snow rock of Miodia hills. The students of are from 265 villages, 15 communities. It is only the CBSE school in the circumference of 60 KM. Growing steadily with the shaver of love and support of the parents, local communities the vidyalaya is in the path of progress through only four years have been passed.
We are extremely happy to present the Annual Report of 2018-2019 which include a number of activities, celebrations & observations.
Activities 
The vidyalaya firmly believes character building education & guided by the ideology of Swami Vivekananda. It provides a spectrum of house activities through the programme of panchamukhi shiksha. The main  thrust of activities at the vidyalaya are visualised to promote the development of a balanced and harmonious personality of the vidyarthis including physical, practical, aesthetic, moral and intellectual aspects.
Morning Assembly  
The morning assembly is conducted in three languages like English, hindi and assamese. Patriotic song vande mataram , new inventions & discoveries, Hanuman chalisa, Bhagwat Gita path, Achyutaslokam, Gayatri mantra, maha mritunjay mantra, tables, drilling, quiz, sentence correction are some activities in the assembly. A period of 30 minutes are spared in the morning for assembly everyday and the vidyarthis by rotation speak thought for the week as well as the important news of the day and impart some information about  educational facts and recent discoveries.


YOGASHIBIR
Yogashibir is one of the most important activities of the Vidyalaya. It establishes the harmony between the body, mind and soul. The Vidyalaya organizes yogashibir for the students, parents, general public, defense people, police etc.
COMMON PROGRAMS 
The Vidyalaya also provides a platform to the students to participate in the inter VKV competitions like “Social Science Exploratory Project”, “Aryabhatta Science Investigatory Project”, Beenapani Lalitkala Samaroha”, “Srmimanata Sankardev Natya Samaroh, “Gita jnanayangya”.
OBSERVATIONS & CELEBRATIONS 
The Vidyalaya also gives importance to preserve Indian culture by celebrating various observations & celebrations like Budha Purnima, Guru Purnima, Raksha Bandhan, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Srimanat Sankardev tithi, Madhabdev tithi, Sukafa Jayanti etc.
STUDENTS COUNCIL GROUP
There is a student’s council group comprised of 20 students from senior classes. The president, vice president, secretary, manage the group and guide the junior students about awareness of health and hygiene , cleanliness, spoken English, spoken Hindi etc.
HOUSE SYSTEM
The house system is an effective instrument for the personality development of the students. The school has established 4 houses among which the entire student population as distributed. The houses have house teachers and captains and it believes in delegating responsibilities among members to develop a sense of responsibility and a spirit of healthy competition and an atmosphere of friendly maturity.
 PDC CAMP
The Vidyalaya organizes personality development camp every year for the students of class VI. This camp helps to develop the moral, emotional, physical, spiritual level of the students.
SANSKAR VARGA
We also conduct Sanskar Varga classes thrice in a week for the dropout children, the children those who do not go to school. These classes are conducted through songs, story telling, games etc.

ANANDALAYAS
The Vidyalaya also manages to run “Anandalayas” in different places. The Anandalayas is mainly for children of tea garden areas, the villages where the school are not available. Story telling, patriotic songs, games , yogasons, chanting of Bhagawat Gita are the main features with academic. The classes are generally in evening for two hours. The talented students are identified and joined in the VKV’s. There are 13 Anandalayas running in and around Sadiya.
