National Youth Day Celebration

National Youth Day was celebrated @ Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sadiya with great pomp and show. This year various activities were conducted in different places, like Mini- Marathon was conducted from Pokka Pool to VKV, Sadiya. Sri Niru Pareek, Vice-Chairman  Chapakhowa Town committee flagged off the Mini- Marathon. In this event, parents, students and other students from different school also participated. Total participants- 150.

Pushpanjali to Swami Vivekananda Program was conducted at two different places at 8.am in Chapakhowa (Chariali) and daily bazaar, Sadiya. The people of market area offered flowers to the portrait of Swamiji. Total attendance- 73.

A cultural programme was conducted in Yubak Sangha Telikola, Sadiya. Various dignitaries from different strata were partake, Satyananda Buuragohain, Headmaster Telikola Prathamik Vidyalaya; Dibya Chiring, Secretary Bapuji Yubak Sangha Telikola, Sadiya; Girin Gogoi, President, Yubak Sangha Telikola; gautam Chiring, social worker, students and teachers of Telikola Prathamik Vidhyalya and Telikola M.E School. Sri Digesh Chandra Nath, RAO, VKSPV, Ghy, was also present in the programme. Students of our Vidyalaya performed a beautiful cultural programme including dance, song and drama. Activity of Vivekananda Kendra was highlighted in the programme. Total attendance - (approx) 90. 

In the Vidyalaya, programme started at 9.30 am. Smt. Joyti Deori, President of BJP Mahila Morcha, Sadiya; Bisandha Sonowal, Assistant Teacher, Kundil High School, Sadiya; Kumari Pranati Gogoi, Assistant Teacher, Ratanpur High School were present as invited guests. Respected Sarita Didi, Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra was present as a Chief guest. 

In Vidyalaya premises a traditional ‘Meji’ and ‘Bhela Ghar’ was prepared. An art competition for primary students of our school was conducted to draw the traditional ‘Meji’ and ‘Bhela Ghar’ Exhibition of fine arts was also displayed. A ‘Food Mela’ was organized in the Vidyalaya. Parents prepared the traditional food items and displayed in a beautiful way, more than 400 people partake in the art & food mela.
